If you want to get the newest Intel Chipset Device Software (= INF Update Utility) installed, I recommend to take the newest package v184.108.40.2066. Since I was going to clean install 10 I set it to RSTe and was able to install the driver for that without issues. Related question: Does Intel not offer RST for non-RAID? Microsoft Ahci Driver Windows 10 iaStorA.sys itself, but just the associated information files with the suffix .INF and for XP compatible drivers additionally the text file named TXTSETUP.OEM, which is absolutely needed for the XP installation
Although many of the new drivers are backwards compatible with older AHCI and RAID Controllers, they are not or may not be optimized for them.So the real question is, to use Intel Ich10r Raid Driver I chalk that up to the drivers not officially supporting Windows 10. In theory it's basically identical to the SE214X/SE214C which the SE214X I have reviewed before. For some reason avast!

Needless to say, I think Intel needs to consolidate RAID drivers into a single package and AHCI drivers into a single package as opposed to trying to support several different versions http://www.win-raid.com/t11f23-Modded-Intel-AHCI-and-RAID-Drivers-digitally-signed.html Oct 15, 2015 at 1:01 PM #15 FordGT90Concept "I go fast!1!11!1!"
