I tried clicking on that link listed back in February but it didn't work so I couldn't get the file I needed. (ibmv5000w2kxp.exe) Thank you very much for your help! I was very careful to make sure I install the software first, before plugging in the camera. The Device Manager on my notebook computer indicated a problem with a USB IMAGING DEVICE (see picture below). They use to have you go to cameratech.com to get the upgrade for xp for this cam, I knew i could count on driverguide.com to have the needed installation.
