Do the bear minimum but IIRC, you have to install SP4 for the Windows 2008 Server setup installer to run. Before I used it for this, I upgraded ALL the firmware using the software from the IBM site. They come from ESX or Bios/SCSI?I had 2 x346 running ESX 2.5.2 and all was fine, with and without (no host raid!) 7K controller!
