The problem is that i'm not sure if CentOS 4.1 default kernels (normal, boot and smp) look exactly the same as RHEL ones ! logically if RHEL supported this server raid, if is highly posibility that CentOS 4.2 are also supported this server raid. The only thing anyone has given me recently is a hard time. Not CentOS 4.0 or CentOS 4.2 !Don't forget that the only driver disk available from IBM is for RHEL 4 update 1 ...So you need to install with the same kernel
