no searching the net. I then got it to do a fresh install, and within 2008 there must be drivers for my particular Raid card, as it installed perfectly first time. http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/downloads/ms/ms_win_svr_2008_x64?productId=ASC-39320D&dn=Adaptec+SCSI+Card+39320D

Do the bear minimum but IIRC, you have to install SP4 for the Windows 2008 Server setup installer to run.

I recently Purchased a few of these servers, and have found that they have a internal IBM raid controller or a Adaptec AIC-7902 Controller installed. http://www.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=1485664 Show: 10 25 50 100 items per page Previous Next Feed for this topic DriverGuide Home Driver Updater Drivers By ManufacturerBy DeviceWindows 10 DriversWindows 8 DriversSearch WizardDownloads Forums Support OverviewWindows 10

Please give me some idea if you can.

This is the worst thing, ever happend with IBM Hardware ... IBM Support (Germany) is not really professionell ... If I use the original signed Windows 2008 x64 driver, it says it couldn't install the driver and to contact the vendor. it detected the Raid controller on a Server 2012 install with a old 2003 driver.

Colleagues, lets try together find out about new plans of SR7k and Win2003x64 supporting. It supports RAID 0,1,10 with only 4 HDDs max. Thanks twice for you replies.. check my blog SCSI and RAID Controllers http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/serverproven/compat/us/xseries/controllers/matrix.html You need another RAID controller for Win2003 x64.

Finally I didn't get any answer from them. Wednesday, June 08, 2011 2:12 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote FYI: I was able to get it to work.
