I was just planning on getting the drill til I saw the combo. So both can use hex bits, but only the drill will be able to clamp down on accessories with round shafts. But it looks like for $49 I can pickup a refurbished corded hammer drill, which probably makes more sense for me. And also, not sure if some screws stand up to this sort of treatment better than others.
